Corey Hastings, the owner of Hastings Diesel Performance, has been immersed in the world of diesel vehicles since 2009, when he purchased his first truck—a 2005 Ford F250 6.0. Starting out as a parts runner and lube tech at a local diesel shop, Corey quickly honed his skills and passion for performance. Over the years, he gained invaluable experience at various repair facilities, building a reputation for delivering solid repairs and earning the trust of repeat customers who frequently sought his recommendations for truck builds. Fueled by this success, Corey decided to venture out on his own, establishing Hastings Diesel Performance. Interestingly, one of his current technicians is someone Corey worked under as an apprentice back in 2012, and now they collaborate to tackle any repair challenge that comes through their 10-bay shop. When he’s not at the shop, Corey enjoys spending weekends with his wife and 2-year-old, as well as indulging in his hobbies of golfing and firearms training.
